Chef Kori Azarkhish, Executive Chef
With more than 30 years of culinary experience, Chef Kori Azarkhish brings classical training, international expertise, and a passion for hospitality to Winchester Country Club. A graduate of L’Académie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Kori has led acclaimed kitchens across the D.C. region, from Ted’s Bulletin and Colvin Run Tavern to the award-winning Regions 117 at Lake Frederick.
Kori’s career includes serving as Executive Chef and Dining Facilities Manager for Constellis under a government contract with the CIA, where he oversaw high-security dining operations with exceptional precision and care. His leadership combines creative menu design, disciplined cost control, and hands-on mentorship—qualities that have earned him recognition across both fine dining and large-scale hospitality settings.
At Winchester Country Club, Chef Kori continues to elevate the member dining experience through seasonal menus, wine-paired dinners, and locally inspired cuisine that reflect both sophistication and comfort.
Chef Nathan Breedlove, Sous Chef
With over two decades of culinary leadership across Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia, Chef Nathan Breedlove brings a deep understanding of refined dining and hands-on craftsmanship to Winchester Country Club. A graduate of Chef José Andrés’s Think Food Group training program, Nathan honed his skills at acclaimed establishments including Le Diplomate, Oyamel, Zaytinya, and The Liberty Tavern.
Throughout his career, he’s earned recognition for transforming kitchens into high-performing, creative teams and elevating quality and innovation. His menus highlight fresh, local ingredients and scratch preparation, blending European technique with approachable American flavors.
Before joining WCC, Nathan served as Executive Chef for Purple Onion Catering Co. in Vienna, where he created bespoke dining experiences for high-profile clients and special events. His leadership reflects not only technical mastery but also a commitment to genuine hospitality—the kind that turns great meals into memorable experiences.
