About the Courts

Outdoor “HAR-TRU” Courts

Har-Tru is a natural green stone surface made from metabasalt found in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Its angular particles help create a stable playing surface, while its hardness adds durability. Har-Tru dries quickly after rain, stays cooler than hard courts, and is easier on the body than many traditional court surfaces.

“The Bubble” - Indoor Facility

Our indoor facility includes 4 indoor hard tennis courts and 12 permanently lined pickleball courts. The courts are open year-round from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Court scheduling is easy, and access is reserved for members.

Winchester Country Club hosts three major pickleball tournaments each year: the Apple Blossom Tournament, the Legends Pickleball Tournament, and the WCC Annual Pickleball Tournament.
