My work is an ongoing exploration of color and form through abstraction, acting as a visual journal of my artistic process. Using mixed media—acrylic paint, collage, and oil pastel—I create layers that emphasize dynamic color, depth, and texture. My intuitive approach involves bold colors, spontaneous brushstrokes, and a balance between strength and subtlety. Influenced by artists like Richard Diebenkorn and Henri Matisse, I aim to evoke emotion through my work. With nearly three decades of experience, I’ve studied and exhibited in various locations, and my work is held in private collections and at Piedmont Virginia Community College.
