Tournament Divisions

• There are two divisions: Men’s and Ladies

• Note: Competitors may play the course in between tournament rounds on Saturday after the first round but not on Sunday morning before the second round.

Format

• Individual Stroke Play, Net, 36-holes

Tees

• Men: Gold Tees (default) or Green Tees. Indicate choice on the registration sheet.

• Ladies: Red Tees or Orange Tees

Handicaps

• 95% of course handicap based on the June 24 update

• Both Governors Cup rounds use the June 22 handicap

• Separate divisions for Men and Ladies; no other handicap adjustments apply

Starting Times

• Times and pairings set by golf staff between 7:30am and 10:30am, depending on field size

• Ladies: Later tee times on Saturday, earlier on Sunday

• Men: Earlier tee times on Saturday, later on Sunday

Ties

• Championship tie: Sudden death, hole by hole playoff with tournament round handicaps

• Ties for other than 1st place: Broken by match of cards (USGA recommended method)

• If 3 or more in Championship Playoff: Playoff results supersede match of cards for 2nd, 3rd place, etc. Champion determined first, then match of cards for remaining ties if necessary

• $32.00 (covers prizes)

Awards Night

• Champion receives an invitation to Awards Night

Player of the Year Points Event

• 1st Place: 150 pts

• 2nd Place: 100 pts

• 3rd Place: 75 pts

• 4th Place: 50 pts

• 5th Place: 25 pts

• Participation: 10 pts
