Competitors are to declare their status for the Championship Flight immediately following the Anderson Cup.

• Round of 16 Matches: Saturday, August 23

• Quarterfinal Matches: Saturday, August 30

• Semifinal Matches: Sunday, August 31

• Finals (36 Holes): Monday, September 1

The Committee has established a time limit for the Round of 16 Matches for the Championship Flight. Competitors are allowed to arrange a date & time for their Round of 16 Match only, prior to the time limit and then play the match accordingly. If the match is not played on an agreed upon date and time prior to the deadline of 7:00pm on Friday, July 22, 2025, the starting time set by the Committee on August 23 will stand as the official Starting Time. This rule is for Round of 16 Matches only. Quarterfinal, Semifinal, and Final matches will be played on the day and time as set by the Committee.

Match Play Draw:

• The Defending Club Champion, Pete Warren, is exempt into match play and is automatically the #1 seed for the pairings bracket.

• Anderson Cup qualifying positions will determine match play seeds #2 to #16.

• Tie Breaking Method for the match play draw will be done by a match of cards using the USGA recommended method unless a hole by hole playoff is used to determine the Anderson Cup Champion or qualifying status in or out of the Championship Flight. See Anderson Cup Information sheet for details.

• Those members that earn a qualifying spot for the WCC Championship Flight of the Men’s Club Championship will not be able to refuse a spot in the Championship Flight to then play in a Numbered Flight of the Men’s Club Championship.

• Those members that play in the Anderson Cup and do not receive a position in the Championship Flight will be able to compete in the Numbered Flights of the 2025 Club Championship.

Championship Flight Format & Information:

• Individual Match Play using a traditional 16 player bracket.

• Single Elimination. There is not a Consolation Bracket for 2025.

Tees: Gold Tees

Handicaps: Handicaps will not be used for this event. Tournament will be played at scratch.

Ties: Should any match be all square after the stipulated round(s), play will continue immediately, starting at the 1st hole, until a winner can be determined.

Entry Fee: $32.00 per player. Entry includes prizes

Player of the Year Points Event: Championship Flight: 150 pts Champion, 100 pts Runner-Up, 75 pts Semifinalist, 50 pts Quarterfinalist, 25 pts Participation

Awards Night: The Club Champion and Runner-up will receive an invitation to Awards Night.
