A Letter from our GM

 

HELLO ALL!

The club is in full summer mode and everything is running smoothly. With three-quarters of the fiscal year behind us, we are exceeding expectations in every department. The pool and snack bar have been especially busy, with nearly double the volume compared to 2023.

This week, we’re keeping the momentum going with fireworks on the 18th hole tonight and our annual 4th of July BBQ at the pool tomorrow. The pool and snack bar will be open until 9pm tonight, so come out and enjoy the show with us.

Next week, we have the Men’s Member-Guest event and the Bourbon Club’s inaugural dinner on the 20th. It’s great to see everyone enjoying the club and all it has to offer. Your tremendous support has led to another successful membership campaign, bringing us closer to the 700-member mark. Thank you to everyone who has referred friends and family!

Lastly, to improve our communication, we’ll be transitioning from a monthly newsletter to a quarterly one. Our website and weekly emails will continue to provide up-to-date news and information. This change will help us ensure our messages are clear and impactful.

As always, my door is open. Feel free to stop by to discuss the club, bourbon, or anything else. Let’s all enjoy the summer!

Hello Winchester Country Club!

I can't believe it's already July and summer is in full swing. We’ve been setting records at the Pool Snack Bar this season, all thanks to our new pager system which has helped us operate efficiently with fewer staff. Thank you to everyone for your support and for adapting to the new system—it makes a big difference!

We now have a second slushie machine with two new flavors and a new cocktail menu with even more variety. Look out for weekly drink and food specials to keep things exciting at the pool.

At the Grille, we’ve launched a new seasonal signature menu. We brought back some old favorites and added 30% more menu items for more variety. I’m also proud to announce we’re now serving USDA Prime graded Filets and Ribeyes—truly high-end steakhouse quality beef. The Grille offers weekly specials from Thursday to Saturday night, along with our recurring theme nights. These specials are "while supplies last" and have been selling out consistently, so be sure to check them out.

Our Bourbon Club is completely sold out for this year, and the inaugural Bourbon Club Dinner will be held on July 20th. We’re also offering a variety of wine tastings at the pool and in the clubhouse, some with raffles and door prizes. The July 11th Williamsburg Winery tasting will raffle a one-night stay at Williamsburg Winery! At these tastings, we offer direct sales at lower-than-retail prices, and I’m available to source any wine we have at lower-than-retail prices as well.
